I loved the twists and turns of the storyline. Winter and Nathanial searching all over for Sebastian. Then there was tension among all three because there was uncertainty over whether Nathanial could be trusted. Nathanial also wanted them to pull off another high risk theft that had the potential to impact the lives of all vampires. This book had suspense, adventure, and lots of hot lovemaking. I was totally vested in the characters. The author did a great job of keeping up with the highs and lows of the emotions of all characters. There was never a time when you couldn't connect the dots to understand why the individual did something. Even though this was the first book in the series it wasn't written with a cliffhanger at the end (which I hate). So even though you aren't compelled to read the next novel to find out how resolution is achieved you really want to follow the storyline. This one is another winner and I will definitely be reading the other 2 books in the series.
