Danielle Debasco was raised in foster care and experienced the horror that some kids go through. She had no one to protect her other than Tyler. Unfortunately, Tyler left when he was eighteen leaving her behind. Danielle turned to drugs to mask the pain she did not want to deal with.
The chemistry between Tyler and Danielle is blistering. They make a great pair with each of them fighting battles in the life they have made so far and with how they have dealt with their childhood in and out of foster care. The connection Tyler and Danielle have is intense and the sex scenes are just as intense.
I found this book very well written with a riveting plot. The main characters and secondary characters are mesmerizing. The ending of the book was a bit predictable but the focus of the book is more about how Danielle and Tyler come back together. I loved that most of this book is told from Tyler’s perspective. The one thing that I did not like was that the ending of the book seemed to be cutoff just before the epilogue. Overall, this was a great book and I hope we get to see these characters again in the future.
