Ok, so this isn't a bad book. I liked the characters well enough. Even though its YA, I didn't find Ashtyn super immature/annoying (I mean, don't get me wrong, she is a high school girl so there is the normal level of immature/annoying). However, the story is really predictable. Nothing that happened was at all surprising. I found myself skimming through a good portion of it because I felt like it was a book I had read before.
Its not poorly written in any way, and I actually will probably recommend it to a few of my students. But, when you have read as many books as I have, this book didn't bring anything new to the genre and thats what I am looking for.
