The book was okay, but not great. I had a hard time figuring out why Jack would have been attracted to Lauren at all. All he knew about her was that her hair was awful, she was willing to pay way too much for pecans and she couldn't stop ogling him. I didn't see why he changed from having a very cool attitude towards her, not even speaking for the most part, to all of a sudden flirting and making suggestive comments.
