I suppose in truth I only read this for Harley Quinn, so in that regard I'm fairly pleased with the book. The rest of the suicide squad members are a mix of cool and irritating so I was thankful for focus being mainly on Deadshot and Harley. Though I'm not that much of a Deadshot fan, and would take more Harley Quinn any day. I had a bit of an issue with the inconsistent art where someone's face changes or their build is slightly different from the previous panels. You get use to it but it definitely lost a star just because of that. I liked that they included Harley's origin story and the added depth for Joker's connection to her. If the comics continue on the path they are going then I wouldn't mind seeing some more detail and background on the other characters as well.
Seeing as issue #7 leaves off at such a pivotal moment I'll keep reading.
