Accept This Dandelion

Picture yourself as one of twelve women on a local Bachelor-type show. You really don't want to be there. You don't really have time to date. Most of all, you just wish your boss would take you seriously enough to get that promotion. This sums up Renee Lockhart.

Imagine you're a man who has a hard time connecting with women. You hardly ever go on second dates because that zing just isn't there. Because of so many first dates, the media portrays you as a playboy. In reality, you are looking for the woman you can share your life with and have a family. This is the picture the author gives us of Ben McConnell.

I fell in love with both Ben and Renee instantly. They both had their own agendas for going through with the show, but as they got to know each other and the other contestants, everything changed. Renee stood out from the very beginning, completely by accident. What Renee didn't know was that she stood out to Ben from the moment he secretly watched her audition. Things continued on a bumpy and unusual path as Ben tried to give the ladies equal attention while getting to know Renee. I was shocked at times by some of the situations the pair seemed to get themselves into. The final Dandelion ceremony had me holding my breath and hoping for the best.

This story gave me plenty of laughs and even a few tears. The chemistry between Renee and Ben was genuine, their attraction held by more than just looks. Accept this Dandelion enraptured my mind with the sweet silliness we all wish for when falling in love.
