I was not sure what to expect and to be honest it will be a fear that every parent has, the day your child stops believing in Santa! It is always good to use the naughty list at your child when they don’t behave. But what do you do when they stop??

The day nine-year-old Millie stops believing Stella, her mother, does not know how to act. She is a big believer, so what can she do? Why has world suddenly turned upside down for her?

This is a short snappy novella and one thing I did enjoy about it was how it’s the focus is not on Christmas and presents but the magic behind it. It makes you stop, take a breath and think. What is important to you at Christmas?

The ending is a heartwarming one, as we think about the people we are surrounded by on Christmas Day and the holidays and the hope and love that family and friends can bring.
