I was expecting a quick, funny, and possibly sexy Christmas romance from Holiday Fling, but what I got was mostly an annoying, melodramatic, kind of romance. Tarrah looks forward to Christmas Eve every year. Not because of presents, food, or family. Because she gets to see her roommate's cousin, whom she always has secret sex with. But this year, she meets Chase while they're trapped in a bank during a robbery. She doesn't expect to see him again, but of course, he's also related to roommate and is at the Christmas party.

Holiday Fling has a cute (if predictable) premise, but once Tarrah and Chase are reunited that night, it was seriously annoying. Tarrah had told him what she was going to be up to that night, and he didn't judge her for it. It's not a big deal. But then because he knows her Christmas fling, he suddenly turns into this epic jerk and basically condemning her as some dirty slut. Um, what?! It's not like he knows her any better since they last saw each other, and it's certainly not like he has any claim on her. Then he becomes a total hypocrite, and I just hated how he treated her. Not a very cheery read.
