Jess is a shadow of her former self, her powers gone, Lightning Girl no more. But Jess knows her powers aren't the only thing that's gone: she's lost herself, as well. Starting over in a new town, intent on finding a new life in college, Jess is less than happy when Rob Wilkins, her ex, shows up at her door, begging her to help him find his long lost sister. But how can Jess, her powers gone, find anyone? Let alone the sister of a man she once loved (and believed, wrongly, loved her back) when she can't even find herself?
I really love this book... I liked the entire series, ofcourse. Otherwise I would not have come this far. But this last book, it was a bit "darker" so to say. It happens a couple of years after the part before that, and shows more of what happens afterwards.. when you given all you have, and you have to pick up the pieces. She had so many adventures, damn all the mysteries that she solved, and fights she got into ! It was awesome ! Not Always very realistic haha, but really entertaining !
But this last part was more emotional.. it made me feel awful, made me feel good.. and then you know you have a good book on your hands, and the author really did some great writing !
