Becoming Mona Lisa was a fantastic read. I understood where Mona and Toms relationship had got to, they stopped communicating, stopped interacting, stopped everything they used to do together really like a lot of couples do. Rather than walking away Mona decides that she wants to try and fix the marriage which pleased me as so many people do walk away rather than start communicating again and working things out.
Trying to work things out when you have a neighbour that seems to think you killed your aunt and is determined to cause trouble for you and having hundreds of crows around your house waiting for you to go outside so they can poop on you can leave you on your last tether. But after all of the trouble Mona and Tom go through with the neighbour, the crows and a falling apart house their love grows stronger.
This book is so funny I couldn’t contain my laughter but it is also a great story of rekindling a love a couple once had.

It was very well written and I look forward to reading more from Holden Robinson in the future.
