i can honestly say that this wasn't the best book. It wasn't the worst book I've read, but it certainly not the best. It was certainly easier to read for me than the other book by this author.

If you don't take this book too seriously, it's fun. There are two major flaws that I've found in it. There is insta-love everywhere. Nearly all the males mentioned are immediately attracted to Skyla, even though she doesn't find herself attractive. (What a surprise.) There are so many ex machinas in this it gets overly frustrating because as problems arise, they are immediately resolved without too much conflict. There was also so much the author could have done with the plot that was left untouched. Maybe she continues on with it in the other books, I'm not sure. This is book is a decent start for a series. Whether I continue it or not, is a different story. Maybe one day.
