Waiting on Tuesday is the second book in the Collar and Cuffs series by Bella Settarra. This book can be read and enjoyed as a standalone novel with ease.
Tuesday O’Leary left Ireland and her dark past behind her and settled in Florida. She is happy and content working at Collar and Cuffs and playing in the dungeon when off work. While she plays with several different Doms, only one has wormed his way into her heart as much as she tried not to let him.
Dan Parker is a Dom at Collar and Cuffs and works at the club. He has his eye on Tuesday but wants to know the woman behind the mask. While Tuesday is prone to goading Doms to punish her, Dan knows her to be honest. However, she won’t accept aftercare with him or anyone.
The connection between Tuesday and Dan is intense. I loved how each of them completed each other. They make a great pair, and they understand the other person. I enjoyed how Dan wanted to protect Tuesday even when he couldn’t. The sex scenes were scorching.
I found this book well written with a unique plot. I enjoyed how the author incorporated romance and suspense in realistic and believable way. The main characters and the secondary characters were fascinating. While the ending was a little predictable, this book has twists and turns that keep the reader entertained. I had a hard time putting this book down. Overall, this was a very outstanding book and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
