I read an ARC, so I don't know that this review 100% checks with the final published version, but here's what I thought anyway:

I didn't love this one quite as much as the first, but it's still good. [a:Kiersten White|3027554|Kiersten White|http://photo.goodreads.com/authors/1254205920p2/3027554.jpg] has a delightful, fluid style that makes this a fast, exciting read. The sort of book you barely need a bookmark for because you don't want to stop reading; until about 3/4 of the way through when you wish it wouldn't end. Evie has a great voice making this one of the few first-person novels I actually enjoy. She's sassy and petulant and smart and confused making her authentic and charming. Lend is an awesome boyfriend, which isn't surprising if you've read [b:Paranormalcy|7719245|Paranormalcy (Paranormalcy, #1)|Kiersten White|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1302502265s/7719245.jpg|6949381].

It's the characters that kept me reading feverishly because they are so much fun and interesting, even when they're screwing everything up. But the screwing things up is what makes it an engaging book. And it's funny; not a lot of books make me laugh out loud and certainly not so often.
