There is a very specific reason that I am giving this issue a five-star rating, but I can’t talk about it too much because of spoilers. I will say that it has to do with Loki though. I think when you read the issue you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about. The scene was perfect, as was the particular way he planned it out. Disturbing, but perfect.
It was nice having a Thor cameo as well. I think he’ll appear in the series from time to time probably, but it’s also very clearly not his show to run. It’s been fun to see a series about Asgardians that wasn’t focused solely on Thor (not that I don’t love his character, because obviously).
I’m looking forward to seeing what the next plot will be. I had honestly thought that the series would be more like an event – where it was focused on one plot, and once the plot was over so was the series. But now I’m starting to realize that it isn’t the case. So now I’m curious.
