This is the first book by Laura Moore I've read and it won't be the last! I found this to be a love story for those who are true romantics like me. Tess's story begins by her taking a chance at a new start after some tragic news she just wants to put behind. Chance takes her to a small town in the west where she'll come to love the beauty of the land, the people from the area and the heart of one rugged cowboy named Ward ! This story really made me see that being from a cosmopolitan city, you come to appreciate the real beauty of the country lifestyle, its sense of community and the bond people there have.
I loved Ward and his swoon worthy kisses. His family are so down to earth, you'd love to have them as friends and I can't wait to read Reid and Quinn's stories, both characters I fell in love with from the beginning. The love for animals adds that special touch, you can tell the author knows a lot about horses and describes it so well. Laura Moore has a great voice, the story was easy to read. It's filled with passion, drama and great friendships. So, if you believe in destiny and are a true romantic, this one's for you! I give it 4.5 hearts!
