Maggie Marr writes an absorbing story, told from Ryan and Amanda’s point of view; so we always know what both of them are thinking and feeling. Although Ryan made a lot of bad choices in his past, I found it easy to like him, as he struggles to do the right thing and try to live a sober life. I liked both Amanda and Ryan although I didn’t always agree with their choices. Ryan and Amanda have an entertaining, tight knit group of friends, who add humor to the story and always have each other’s back. I enjoyed the story, the plot was believable and I had a hard time putting this book down. There is a lot of sexual tension and yearning between Ryan and Amanda, as they both try to figure out what they want out of life. This is the second book in the Glamour series and each book is a stand-alone. Now that I have read BROKEN GLAMOUR, I want to go back and read the first book HARD GLAMOUR, because I’m sure Dillon and Lane’s story is just as good as Ryan and Amanda’s.
