Infinity Wars: Soldier Supreme (2018) #1 (of 2)

Soldier Supreme was a comical and interesting blend between two of my favorite characters: Captain America and Doctor Strange. Thanks to the events going on in Infinity Wars, these characters are now one single character, as is their backstory, their enemies, and their abilities.
I thought that this would be more gimmick-y…but I was impressed. I really liked the way they blended the two histories together. There were parts I liked in particular, but I don’t want to spoil them in.
In short, this ended up being way better than I expected. And to top it all off I’m surprised that they ended up making this into two issues – I’ll be curious to see what they have happen in the next one.
