I can’t believe the series is over. I absolutely loved this run of Green Lanterns. I know some people have felt that we’ve seen more than enough of Hal Jordan, but I’ve always been fond of his character. Not that I mind seeing more of the other lanterns too. Actually, I just want any Green Lantern series they’re willing to give me. Good news is that while this series is over, we are getting another Green Lantern series. I don’t know much about it yet, but I am looking forward to it.
This issue wraps up the Darkstar plot, which has been amazingly intense. Here we got to see our four anchor characters (Hal Jordan, John Stewart, Guy Goddard, and Kyle Rayner) all at their best. Each one has a different way of handling situations and fighting, but it’s really the combination that won them the fight. At least if you ask me.
Obviously this series being focused on Hal Jordan, we know that he’ll get the biggest moment of the bunch. I’m okay with that. It was a great moment. It was a perfect end for the series, if I may say so.
