Rounding up to 5 stars. Not quite as good as Disappearing Church, and I don't always agree with his observations or conclusions, but the final chapter was gold. Hard to slough through at times because his writing is a bit dense, but after finishing a couple fluffy but still long winded (like, the main points are fine but this could have easily been shortened to a couple blogs, folks) Christian books, his depth was refreshing? Go figure. At the end of the day, I'd still probably recommend the This Cultural Moment podcast for the main points of this and Disappearing Church in an easier to digest format for most people and to check out the books if you really, really want to dive in.
