I love all things, Natalie Bennett. In fact, she may be the only author whose books I have read every single one of. They are always entertaining. They are always twisted. They are always full of blood, gore, and all manner of sick debauchery. They have crazy perverted characters. They have smokin' hot sex (some more than others). To sum it up, even a less than impeccable book still guarantees you an enjoyable read.





So naturally, I enjoyed this one. In fact, probably up to 85% I would say I loved it. However, I have the same complaint about this one that I have had for the last couple of books this author has released. This story felt underdeveloped. I felt like this book needed at least another fifty pages or so of fleshing out. There are several HUGE bombs dropped in the last 15% of the book in which there is little to no explanation given. Just...BAM...BAM...BAM...THE END. I felt like I needed some of those bombs explained a little more thoroughly since I was left with about 5000 questions and a whole lot of confusion.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that maybe we will get more answers in the next book. However, the author said this one doesn't end on a cliffhanger (I sort of have to disagree with that), and the next book involves a different couple, so who knows. In any case, I do know that yours truly will be in the front of the line saying...GIMME...GIMME...GIMME. (lol).
