Under The Desert Moon’s main character is Erin who is a regular girl. Who thought there wasn’t really anything special about her. She was fed up with the town she was living in and wanted to get out as soon as she graduated.

A film crew arrives to shoot a vampire movie and when the stars were in the diner Erin thought she recognised the main star. He has something familiar about him but couldn’t place it to start with. Then things started to click into place and she realised he was in fact the same actor who was in a show thirty years earlier but is exactly the same as he was in that show. How could this be? She starts digging and does find out the reason.

I really liked Erin’s character she was “normal” not a cheerleader glitzy girl and she had brains on her. She was a kind and caring girl. She loved photography which I can associated with too. I also liked James’s character. I liked how he was always around, dark and handsome and his seductive charm. There is a forbidden love story in this book and it just made it even better.

It was an enjoyable read.
