I can't seem to get enough of the Boudreaux family. Easy Melody was again a very easy story to listen to. Declan has been on my mind for a while and I am not surprised that his love interest was going to be strong, independent and very sexy in an original and quirky way.
Easy Melody was very sexy, low on angst and high on family connections. It was very easy to listen to the story and again I think the narrators do a fabulous job. The characters came alive for me and I really enjoyed seeing their growth and love strengthen. At times their lack of communication frustrated me, but this is something that grows with the relationship. Seriously, this was probably the HOTTEST of the series so far. Declan and Callie really are HOT together.
I love that this family proved my theory about finding the right partner. As a young person but I don't think there's an age limit, we think we know the right person for us. Love blinkers can blind us to faults, excuse intolerable behaviours and make us forget past hurts. But, family see it all, know the person we are and what we should expect from a partner. So, if mum, dad and siblings don't like your partner, look at your partner a little harder. It's not that they want you alone, they want you to have your happy ever after just as much as you want it. Obviously, this is not always the case just my observations of real life.
Love this series and I will definitely be going on.
