This was a good story! You start off with a bang-Kate leaving Carson (when she is like 8 months pregnant to boot!). The 1st 1/2 of the book revolves around the will they/won't they get back together trope. At about 50% in, you find the answer to this and I was kind of concerned about where the book would go from there. Thankfully, nothing bad happens to our MC's which I was glad for, but the rest of the book seemed to focus on everyone else so it was a bit disjointed. I like the other characters so it was fine, but it just felt that Kate and Carson and Carley's story was secondary to the drama of the other characters.
I will continue to read this series-the writing is good, I love dual POV's and the characters are interesting!
