Hippopposites

by Janik Coat

Behold: an opposites book like no other. Simple pairing of words, both expected (big/ small) and unexpected (clear/ blurry), are humorously illustrated with a graphic and loveable red hippopotamus. Bold colours and unexpected die-cuts and textures spice up this elegantly engaging board book.

This is totally cute! A large size board book full of educational value. Including all sorts of opposites all in the shape and form of a hippopotamus. What I love about this book is that there are normal opposites that are often taught such as small/large, but there are neat ones like dotted and striped too and don't forget the textures between soft and rough. This is great for my toddler who is almost a preschooler as well as my baby who us almost a toddler. I will definitely pull for this one again and again for education as well as fun. Love!
