Cocktails and Books received this book for free from Social Butterfly PR in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect our opinion of the book or the content of our review.Given how the previous book ended, I wondered how the author was going to pull Rowan and Tessa back together.  There was so much between the two that I didn't know how they could get back to where they should have been so many years before.  I didn't expect Rowan and Tessa to have an easy path back to each other, but this seemed too easy.

Tessa kept something pretty large from Rowan, but he forgave her almost immediately.
Tessa kept that same something from her best friend, Sam.  He was made for a minute or two, but forgave her.
Rowan married someone else so he could keep his family's company, leaving Tessa behind, but she forgave him pretty easily when (after 4 years) they finally interacted with one another again.
Don't get me wrong...I wanted this couple to be together.  But the ease in which they made their way back to each other made it seem like there was no real reason for them to be apart.  If it's that easy to forgive and forget, they could have figured it out sooner.
