I really didn't connect with this book. It was hard for me to connect with these characters. Toni had issues, both with her past and present, but it seemed for a woman with a psychology degree, she didn't always make the most practical or rational decisions.

Others may enjoy this, but for me, the loss of a connection to the characters made it hard to enjoy the story.
