A story of magic, books, history and mystery.

I was hesitant to write this review, the story of this book, although it screams read me, you'll never want to put me down, I did do that in some places, only when I felt it had overreached beyond the plausible boundaries I can expect for a fantasy novel. Now that's not to say the book isn't good. It's very good. I in fact loved it. It's just that some parts had me doing the 'pfffft' reaction, where I wish it had been handled better.
I do love the storyline, and I think changing it would make the experience very different because how it is now has you drawn in, made a part of the world.

We are whisked away to Greece and stumble ourselves into a murder mystery, giving us Nancy Drew vibes.
I was totally wrong about my suspicions of the suspect! The plot twists really had me going, I was so certain I was right, shifty library folk everywhere. I was wrong.

The cute little love interest that takes hold in the book, is very interesting. The spiciness was ❤️‍
