It has been a while since I have read this book, so my review will be fairly short and not as detailed.

This is definitely one of the best books I have read this year. It felt magical, it had strong characters, there were complex relationships, it had everything I hoped for. It also did not depend on the most standard YA tropes, which was a relief.
There was one plot twist that I saw coming from the beginning of the book, but I did not mind it since that added more layers to the story.
Can we get book two already?
