This book was crazy. It’s going to be really hard not to write spoilers. Finally, everything is explained. There were so many things that I was guessing and it was fun to see if I was right. All the characters grow so much during this book. Jace grows the most and I’m really happy with how his character turned out. He struggled a lot in this book but seemes to turn out ok in the end. Clary grew the least but I don’t think she needed to grow anymore in this book. She’s still a very strong character and doesn’t let anything or anyone stop her from what she wants to do. All the characters are at a really good point I think.

I found there were a lot of cheesy moments in this book, which was unfortunate. A little bit I could deal with, but a lot bothers me. I was able to get over it though but I really enjoyed the plot to this book. This book is a lot more serious than the others because this is the end and there’s a big battle and whatnot. The same with any other series. You go through so many different emotions during this book. Probably because it was meant to be the last book (and it should have been the last book).

I realize there is a lot of hate for this series as well as a lot of good reviews. I think it’s one of those books that you either really love or really hate. There’s no in between. I encourage everyone to try out this series. At least make it to this book and if you don’t like it that’s cool. I personally like this series at this point and I hope you guys will too!
