Phenomenal retelling of the story of Achilles. I'm late to the game, wanting to test the waters before reading Circes. The writing is gorgeous, and story of a god/human who achieved the lasting fame he thought he would be denied. It's rare lately that a story is so good I stay up WAY past my bedtime to finish, but this was such a story. Circe has just moved towards the top of my TBR pile.
