Field trip - Zoo - penguins.

Humorous is definitely a way to describe this one. Very appropriate for reading with little ones after a family read of Mr. Popper's Penguins. Splat's off to a school field trip to the zoo, but told Seymour (the mouse) to stay home in respect of the elephant's fears. Seymour has other plans... Splat is most excited about seeing the penguins, but things do not go quite as planned...
