I really loved the world the author created, I could picture the snowy town in my head quite easily.

Although I was expecting there to be something more about the humans as slaves, since it was mentioned in the book summary. The human slaves were seldom mentioned, except for about one or two instances when the main character caught a glimpse of them.

My favorite character was actually Raven, Ava sort of got on my nerves a bit.
