A couple of times there I felt like I needed to get up and have a shower to get clean.
I find it hard to say I liked this story, when it's really so dark and yucky. Saying that, I give it 4 stars because it really made me feel something...not always good.
I got to 85% in this book and thought, I'm not sure I can face anymore bad stuff, I'll just skim the rest. But no, it sucked me back in.
Elizabeth Finn has produced another great read. I only have one of her stories left, Brother's Keeper. Hope it has the same grit that I am learning to expect in her writing.
