A novella that serves as a prequel to the India Black series, India Black and the Rajah's Ruby, is a fun, quick read explaining the origins of India Black's starting capital and how she was able to buy and start up Lotus House. This short story does a very entertaining job of clearly illustrating India's quick wit and clever intellect.
