I really enjoyed this book. The plot and characters (with a few exceptions) were wonderfully crafted and complicated enough to make this an interesting read. The main character, Eden, was a great combination of feisty and gentle that she represented someone I would like to emulate. As a non-religious person, I expected her views to be overbearing, but that was not the case at all. Caspian was a great guy with flaws (in a good way), and I really liked seeing how he tried to be a good father, but struggled with it. I think the villain in this story and Eden's could have used a little more development. During the action scenes, there is a secondary villain that keeps slipping through people's notice, and while I understand things can get hectic, but given earlier episodes with said character, I was annoyed that the main characters repeated the mistake twice in a short period of time. Besides these minor problems, SWEPT TO SEA was a great, entertaining read. I can't wait to read the sequel.
