Super quick read but kind of Meh about it. Probably closer to a 2.5 then a 3 star. Didn’t connect to the characters as much as I would have liked to. The storyline was fine, but didn’t have a whole lot of depth to it. It wasn’t a bad read, just an okay one. If you’re looking for an easy-going, quick read this might be up your alley. I believe this is a series, so I’m a bit disappointed that we didn’t get a deeper look at the secondary characters that might be in the next books. Usually well rounded secondary characters entice me into reading the second book in a series, but that didn’t happen for me with this book. Overall it is was a sweet, easy to read story but wasn’t wowing for me.
