Interesting premise for sure. Certainly has me intrigued and I plan to continue. I actually binged this book in 1 sitting. However, there is something that kept me from a 5 star. Maybe it was the the slow trickle of info to the reader about what was happening, maybe it was because its 1st person from Seraph's view only...something made me not feel totally in LOVE with the story. I have hopes for the next book though for sure!
Trigger warnings: Seraph was physically abused by her father; she also mentions some sexual abuse as well but it does not occur in the story
