We Met in December

I was expecting a far more Christmassy book than what this was.
While the two main characters Jess and Alex do meet around the holidays that's about as Christmassy as the story gets.
Instead, it focuses on a year-long will they won't they get together situation filled with some roommate drama.
Individually I liked the two characters and learning about them, even together I could have liked them. Having said that though we never actually got to see them together, and instead the ending felt extremely rushed after all that we had had to go through to get to it.

Overall for me, this book was false advertising of a Christmas story, when in all actuality it should have been more like we met and took a year to do anything about our feelings story.
