From the very beginning there was a web of different characters that you immediately cared about. There was substance in their history and a whole mythology that was really unique and intriguing. I loved the world she built and the details and history in it. Actually I loved the history embedded in the whole thing.
In some ways, reading this felt like reading [b:I Am Number Four|7747374|I Am Number Four (Lorien Legacies, #1)|Pittacus Lore|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1305807140l/7747374._SY75_.jpg|10576999] with the vague similarities of a young boy with powers he's just discovering who is being hunted. But this was so much better. This was what you wanted I Am Number Four to be.
