The matchmaker only did half his job...

Geez, the matchmaker was bloody lucky that he had success matching up the couple in this story. It was a good thing that love was the foundation for their success and not his matchmaking skills.

He's at a marrying age with a mum determined to see him settled. She's lost both her parents and is living a lonely life in the middle of nowhere. Their meeting wasn't by chance but their instant attraction was a pleasant surprise to both of them.

There was plenty of lust, attraction and a firm connection between the main characters.
Sure, I think their "love" happened awfully fast, but you never know when the love bug is going to strike.

Another great short story by Anna Campbell and I can't wait for more.
