I remember reading this when it first came out, after waiting for what seemed forever after Jordan died, not knowing what to expect. I remember loving it. Finally in this reread my old feelings were repeated - I still love this book and I am giving it 5 stars on its own, not based on nostalgia. The first book of the whole series that I still think is 5 star good. I honestly think that I could read this book again in the future, on its own, because I don't think I will ever be able to endure this whole series again. But yes, this book is good enough to revisit. It ties up and continues just the perfect mix of story arcs.
