Um. Wow. This was a fantastic issue on the whole. I have to ignore one thing to be able to say that, and that’s an off-screen main character death. I imagine that because of the character in question, and because it happened off-screen for him, that this death won’t in fact stick. But I could be wrong…so I’m just not going to think about that part too much, okay? Also, I don’t think I’m spoiling anything by mentioning the character death, since the book description flat out says who it is. This issue did a fantastic job of showing us the dichotomy between Bruce and Hulk. There is so much more going on here, and it’s something we’ve been wondering about for a while. I know this was a one-shot plot, but man did they do a brilliant job of trying it into the main plotline at the same time!
