This book was interesting, in that it was different. The story took unexpected paths several times which I liked and then there were things that were obvious long before they were revealed (ok two things and several surprising). I liked Marak's unapologetic honesty. But this is one of those rare books where the plot is more appealing than the characters because they're not that well developed. I mean, I liked the idea of the whole story, I like where it subverts your expectations and I liked that it doesn't end where you think it will.

But aside from all that, there wasn't that much to love.
