Find Me (Find Me, #1)

by Romily Bernard

Fans of the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo trilogy will just love this creepy and alluring teen thriller. Complete with action, techie intrigue, a horrifying mystery, and a blossoming romance full of sparks, Find Me is an exhilarating debut.

When teen hacker and foster child Wick Tate finds a dead classmate's diary on her front step, with a note reading "Find me," she sets off on a perverse game of hide-and-seek to catch the killer. But things get even more personal as Wick's deadbeat dad returns and the killer points to Wick's sister Lily as the next target.

With the help of oh-so-cute hacker-boy-next-door Griff, can Wick find her tormenter and save her sister?

Wick is a nerd. She’s also a hack. She hacks into people’s lives for work. Women come to her to find out if their husbands or partners are cheating on them and she finds out for them. For a fee. It’s wrong, she knows that but it’s also the only thing she’s really good at doing without getting caught so she does it, to save money for when her and Lily need to move on. Because their con of an abusive father is going to come back for them and Lily may not want to deal with it but someone has to…and that person is Wick.

This is a suspense book with a teenage protagonist and while the suspense in this book is pretty easy to figure out, it was still an enjoyable read. I liked the person that we see Wick become and the love interest was a cutie patootie. I liked the way that Griff had her back through thick and thin and toward the end when Griff struggles with leaving Wick behind with the bad guy? My inner teenager swooned with delight. It was adorable.

I will definitely be checking out more from this author. Her writing style flows nicely and I liked the reading adventure she took us on with this book.
