This issue brings about the conclusion of the first major plot arc for Cover. It’s also the end of the first volume, obviously. The series is set to come back next year though, so clearly it isn’t over.
The conclusion was…I’m not going to say unexpected, because it sort of seemed like they were leading up to it the whole time. They were just subtle in the way they were telling the story.
I sort of like the implication, even if it also caused a little chuckle and eye roll. All in good humor, I assure you.
