Finn Callaghan is the youngest of three brothers who is following tradition to become a police officer like all those before him. He also wants to prove that his father was not a dirty cop and to look into his death. Finn graduates the academy and is put on his first assignment undercover. Finn is excited and anxious to prove himself and not to screw-up.

Michael Caruso is the head of the task force to end underage prostitution ring that is preying on homeless gay teens. While he has mixed emotions about using a rookie, Finn fits the part that Michael is looking for. However the closer that Michael works with Finn the more he cares for him and cannot deny his attraction to Finn. Michael is a gay man who does not acknowledge his sexuality at work.

The connection between Michael and Finn is intense. They make a great pair who can work together as well as have a relationship together. They are both cops to the bone working to protect those that can’t protect themselves. The sex scenes were scorching.

I found this book well written with a distinctive plot. The main characters and the secondary characters were fascinating. While the ending was a little predictable, the adventure the book takes the reader on is griped with several unexpected twists and turns. I had a hard time putting this book down. Overall, this was a very captivating book and I hope to see these characters again in the future.
