This book had such potential. A second-chance romance with a boy band set up could have been perfect. But as the story unfolded, I found myself shaking my head at the Hearts, who sounded like a bunch of teenage girls, rather than being in their late twenties, early thirties.

Grady, who was supposedly the "broody bad boy" of the bunch, was a little too whiney for me. His "woo is me" times detracted from any sexiness you might get out of any other page time with him. And then there was Bella. She practically Grady's twin when it came to whininess, except she added the unflattering charm of running off when things got tough. Between the two of them, it made it hard to believe either of them was mature enough to enter into any kind of romance and believe it would work this time.
