The Mysterious Doll by Linda Weaver Clarke is a nicely crafted story and takes place in their town of La Rosa, Arizona. I like how Ms. Clarke takes inspiration for writing from what happens in her life with her family.

Can Amelia and Rick prove that Sam is innocent?
The lovebirds are off with a new mystery of trying to find a missing person that is apart of a stolen doll case. Amelia has no clue what to think about this entire thing, but she has a feeling that the guy might be innocent while Rick wants to try to help with anything that he can. She is still working on her bucket list and now knows how to shoot a gun while not being too afraid. Rick helped her like always. These two, as a couple, are still growing and taking things slow. Not much has changed with them.

The Case
The case in this one is hand-in-hand with a police investigation of a missing doll. As for the doll, the police suspected Sam, the missing person, to have stolen it. Amelia got hired by Sam's girlfriend to find him and bring him home. Along with proving that he didn't steal the doll. I had my suspicions on who stole the doll but what really happened was something that I wasn't excepting. Between the figuring out about the doll and Sam, Amelia and Rick have their hands full with this case.

4 Stars
The Mysterious Doll by Linda Weaver Clarke is a nice read while trying to solve the case, along with Amelia and Rick. I like these two love birds. They solve their cases while also checking things off their bucket lists at the same time. I am giving this four stars and recommending it to anyone that wants to play at being a private investigator with our two main characters.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy from the author. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
