Playtime Manners for Little Monkeys

In this book--her third in the little monkey series (It's Bedtime for Little Monkeys and Good Table Manners for Little Monkeys)--artist and author Susie Lee Jin teaches important lessons to little ones about playing nicely with friends. Brightly colored and impressively simple, this sturdy board book is full of wisdom and charm. While the little monkeys play across the pages, they learn to be polite and kind, to share their toys, and to clean up when they are finished playing. Caught up in these sweet critters-- antics, a child easily learns that manners at play make play fun.

This is a cute board book that definitely serves it's purpose. On the back it's listed as Children's Non Fiction General, but I think that must be an error, because it is definitely like a short little skit on the do's of a playdate with little monkeys. My daughters both are very drawn to the illustrations and they are as cute as can be. I think the book serves it's purpose, but I'm not sure we'd find ourselves reading it over and over. It is definitely good on the lessons of etiquette for sharing, saying please and so on. I guess it reminds me of the [b:Benjamin Bear Says Thank You|7528196|Benjamin Bear Says Thank You|Claire Freedman|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1288582492s/7528196.jpg|9765508] and other Benjamin Bear Books series.
