Mima Kirigoe is a member of the popular J-ldol band CHAM. Feeling like she needs more in life, Mima chooses to break away from idol stardom to pursue an acting career. When strange occurrences begin to happen around her - haunting both her personal and work life, and eventually leading to multiple deaths - Mima's mental state begins to deteriorate, blurring the lines of reality and fantasy.

It could have been the author’s style or the translation, but I didn’t love the writing. (Explain to me how lips can tremble like a trapped bird’s beak?)

Also, a lot of plot ran on fictional women making questionable decisions that real women would have avoided ...
